Elite Chicago Limo has effectively added eleven new employees to our operations. Nine new drivers were hired to operate the increasingly popular party buses and stretch SUVs in Chicago, and two new administrators have been welcomed to Elite’s daily operations.
The latest hiring spree comes at a time when most other Chicago limousine companies are in the midst of downsizing in terms of labor and fleet size. The newest trend amongst traditional limo firms is also to switch towards a more tightly run limo service niche. Lately, more firms around Chicago have sought to focus on a particular vehicle type such as the party bus or luxury sedans as opposed to running a versatile fleet.
The recent driver and dispatcher additions have come from the Chicago style wedding and billboard marketing campaigns that have doubled the sales volume and increased the number of online impressions by a factor of ten. Elite’s decision to add an additional driver to every party bus for the safety and convenience of its clients has also contributed to the hiring spree. The service reviews regarding party buses and larger vehicles have generally been positive due to the second driver addition.
While the Illinois and Greater Chicago Area is slowly pacing towards an economic recovery, Elite Chicago Limo has positioned itself for growth and stable expansion in the limousine service industry. August and September bookings, as a result, have been steadily increasing as businesses, professionals, and every day customers around Chicago are getting to know our operations better. And while seasonality in Elite’s marketing metrics is certainly not overlooked, the limo rentals in Chicago are on the pace to match that of pre-financial crisis transportation boom.
With the increase in the number of employees, Elite Chicago Limo also hopes to work towards developing a plan to expand into other areas of Chicago transportation. Trolley service business and the adoption of the electric car limousine such as Tesla or Chevy Volt are all within the realm of possibility. Innovation in the limo service industry is Elite’s key focus, since Elite understands that without taking calculated risk on new transportation projects, the company will fall behind in the rankings of top limo and party bus operators in Chicago.
